With the excuse of forming a group of assassins, commanded by an old Samurai in order to end the reign of terror of Lord Naritsugu, the Shogun's brother, Miike tells the story of 13 Assassins, one of honour and companionship, set in the last times of feudal Japan, where Shoguns were on the verge of disappearing.
